Happy birthday to MY BABY!

First and foremost today is my baby's 14th bday.  I can't believe I'm saying this right now. :-(

I have been truly blessed I can not even begin to tell you.

Mommy and Daddy loves you VERY, VERY much and we are so VERY, VERY proud of you!!!!

Now to sewing..........Thank you to all my etsy supporters!  Loving every minute of this new found popularity.  So a while I back I lied.  About being content with my sewing machine.  Well I "needed" this one.  Really I did.....

Yep needed the embroidery features on this baby.  Had to pass up some clients because my other machine couldn't embroider larger size.  THAT won't happen again.  ;-)

Love love Rita from red pepper quilts. Her straight line quilting is always perfect. She uses the new Bernina. Would love love this machine but too expensive for me at this moment. Hubby asked me to research and pick a model. Really? Oh how I would love one but really? Well while googling I saw that Leah from Sew Spoiled has the same machine as me! The Brother pc-420!!!! Whaaaatttt?!!!! If it's good enough for this super savy sewer, it WILL be good enough for the DaMommie!!! Two snaps up and a circle!

Nothing fancy but a good score from Walmart. Yes you read that right Walmart. I spent...well just say I didn't break the the bank with this purchase. I'll dream of what to make with this. Yes I dream of sewing and will lie awake, rushing the day to come so I can get home and start creating.

Senior Prom night and some sewing

My daughter went to senior prom tonight. She's the one in the cream(?) dress. As you can tell she's very eccentric hence, the rihanna haircut and color.

I've been sewing while waiting up for her to come home. Yes I'm a worry wart of a mom and will NOT sleep until I know she's home. What better way than to sew right?

Next up is the pattern I was too cheap to buy at first and tried knocking off....um yeah....I'll stick with sewing and NOT pattern drafting on my own.

Mother's Day!!!

Was my birthday!!!! Yep, exactly 39 years from Sunday. I was a mother's day baby but if you ask my mother her best gift was this.....not me.... but this...that's what she said but I KNOW she loves teasing me. Sorry Mom I'm not flustered! Well maybe a little. :-(

She's NOT technically savvy! And I didn't want to waste money on an ipad and have her NOT like it.

Her name is Edith but Edie for short. Well that's it. I'm done. Oh can you believe I got a cold on my birthday/mother's day. Still battling the sniffling and cough. Nyquil is starting to kick in.... Nights are the worst. It's humid here in Maryland and boy it's hard to breef (hahahaha George Lopez stand up). Ok I'll stop babbling now. How was your mother's day? Insomnia

Good thing about having insomnia is you can be creative/productive.  You can definitely get things done, but quietly.  Everyone else is dreaming away.
